MGCI MASS INDOCTRINATION DAY 10/ MONDAY 23RD; DECEMBER; 2024.
The apparel commanded by God for the outer man and the inner man. We are made to understand that everyone has two beings which are; outer and inner being.
We ought to understand that every child of God has two beings, and whatever we put on concerning our inner man and the outcome man should be in accordance with the commandments of God. Thus as children of God, we ought to be different from the people of the world because our minds have been transformed through the word of God.
2 Corinthians 4:16
KJV: For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
Through this scripture, our outward man (flesh) faints and gets weak, while our inward man is being renewed daily, thus our inner being is spiritual and strong, compared to our outward man.
2 Corinthians 4:18
KJV: While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Thus we are admonished by Paul in this scripture we shouldn't focus on the things that are seen (outward) because they are temporary, rather we should focus on the things unseen which will lead to eternity.
Oftentimes, we tend to be carried away by our outward adorning forgetting that our inward adornment is what is pairing God's sight. Thus we are also warned by apostle Peter about false prophets, who adorn themselves outwardly but inwardly they are ravenous wolves, they have an outward appearance as men but inwardly are beastly, so we ought to be careful, so as not to be devore by them.
2 Peter 2:12
NLT: These false teachers are like unthinking animals, creatures of instinct, who are born to be caught and killed. They laugh at the terrifying powers they know so little about, and they will be destroyed along with them.
This was not the initial plan of God for man, God didn't create man to be evil but to be gods on earth to subdue and have dominion over everything on earth, and that plan is still active as many that their minds have been transformed through the word of God (embracing the light).
Genesis 1:26
KJV: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
The original meaning of man is "A creature created after the image and likeness of God, man is someone that is not evil because he is created after God's image and likeness, but a heart that thinks evil concerning his/her fellow human has not being transformed and does not have the likeness of God.
A man whose inward man is human (transformed) delights in the law of the Lord, and obeying the law of the Lord (transformed inwardly) is being manifested by our outward activities with others.
St. John 8:12
KJV: Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Jesus came as the light of the word. To translate us from the kingdom of darkness into light, yet many still choose to walk in darkness neglecting the light, and that is manifested through our outward man activities with others as well.
1 Peter 3:3
KJV: Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
1 Peter 3:4
KJV: But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
Our adorning should be the hidden man of our heart which is not corruptible, wearing the ornament of meekness, quietness and humility which is a reasonable and great price in the sight of God.
Our outward adorning should be with modesty, presenting ourselves as the temple of God. Thus through our inward adorning, our outward adorning can also appear modestly. We are a true reflection of our inward being.
Our reference scriptures are; Psalm 49:8, Jeremiah 6:16, Proverbs 26:11, Matthew 7:16, John 3:19
