1 corinthians 10:21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons.
Bro Eli mentioned that the cup of the Lord s referring to the church of God. You can’t be of God and also be meddling with the devil.
He mentioned that our offering provides us the privilege to show gratitude to God. Our offering is an act of worship to God.
He also talked about obedience, that we should obey God in confidence without any fear believing that God is pleased with us.
He also talked about marriage doctrines, it’s not a sin to get married so it’s not right to craft our a portion of the Bible and make a doctrine out of it stopping people from getting married. In cases like Paul’s he decided not to marry for the sake of the gospel, but that is not a doctrine. It was just his personal choice. So, if anyone decides to marry or not, it’s their own choice, it’s not a sin.
Also in Ecclesiastes When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
It’s not by force to make vows to God. But when you do, ensure you keep to your words and honor your vows. It’s dangerous not to honor vows made to God.
