We ought to know that Jesus Christ made salvation free for everyone, because he looks our inner heart but not how often we go to church. While religion often involves rituals, traditions, and outward expressions, Scripture emphasizes a personal relationship with God through faith. Salvation is not earned by following religious rules but is given freely through Jesus Christ.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8).
We are told by brother Eli Soriano, we should not focus on religion and neglect our heart. He rebuked the Pharisees for their strict observance of traditions without true devotion to God. This shows that religion, when reduced to mere rituals, cannot bring salvation. What God desires is sincerity, repentance, and faith that transforms the inner life.
