There are many examples in Scripture where God’s people gave generously to support others. Early Christians shared their possessions so that no one lacked basic needs. This shows that when someone is truly in need, especially within the community of believers, it is right to step in and help as much as we can.
Although, wisdom is also important when helping financially. We are not called to carry every burden alone or to give beyond our ability. Setting healthy boundaries ensures that we do not harm ourselves while trying to help others. Giving should come from a willing and joyful heart, not from pressure or guilt.
