The bible teaches us to always care for one another but it doesn't mean we should put their burden upon us. God calls us to show kindness, generosity, and compassion, helping where we can with a willing heart. Supporting others in difficult times reflects love and unity among believers, but it should come from wisdom, not pressure or obligation.
At the same time, the Bible also encourages personal responsibility. Each person is expected to manage their own life and resources faithfully. While it is good to help others, it is not right to enable laziness or ongoing dependence. Helping should lift people up, not keep them stuck, and it should be done in a way that honors God and promotes growth.
Christians are called to give when led by love, guided by wisdom, and within their ability. We are not required to pay every bill for others, but we are encouraged to be generous and supportive when there is genuine need. True biblical financial responsibility is about both caring for others and being faithful stewards of what God has given us.
