Forgiveness of sins is the major thing which every serious Christian should adopt in their life. God told us to always forgive those who transpass against us just the way he also forgives us. Forgiveness helps remove bitterness, anger, and hatred from our hearts, allowing love and peace to grow. When we forgive, we reflect God's mercy and show that we understand the grace He has shown toward us.
Jesus taught that forgiveness should not be limited or conditional. He encouraged His followers to forgive repeatedly, even when it is difficult.
Matthew 18:21–22, Jesus told Peter that we should forgive “seventy times seven,”
meaning that forgiveness should be continuous and sincere. This teaches that forgiveness is not about counting wrongs but about having a heart that is willing to let go of offenses.
