Holy week is the time that talks about the crucifixion, resurrection and death of Jesus Christ in the bible. These thing is carefully told in the bible most especially his suffering before death and his resurrection. However, the Bible does not command or outline a specific yearly holy Week observance as a structured religious calendar event.
From a biblical perspective, what is clearly emphasized is the remembrance of Christ’s death and resurrection. Jesus instructed His followers to remember His sacrifice, especially through practices like communion, but He did not establish a fixed week of ceremonies or rituals around it. This means Holy Week as a tradition developed later in church history to help believers reflect more intentionally on these key events.
