We are all familiar with the common saying that charity begins at home. The bringing of the gospel which is also the good news is a beautiful thing. The Bible says how beautiful are the feet of those who bring the gospel.
Believers have a role of making known the Word of God to people. But it wouldn't make sense if they go out and present this good news to people and forget about the ones who are closer to them — their family. We are expected to carry our families along in everything we do especially when it is something that is profitable to us.
Telling our loved ones about it faith is one of the best things we can do for them. It actually proves that we love them. A family is expected to have one mind. A family is far much stronger when they are united.
A family that believes in one faith which is Christianity a far much stronger than a family where not an the members do not have knowledge of the word of God and believe in Him. It can be very easy for the enemy to penetrate and bring about disunity and confusion. No one would desire for his or her family to be in that state.
