Keeping God first demands that we must face and overcome anything that leads us into worrying and distracts us from putting our trust Him. This is what Jesus is says:
Matthew 6:33
I understand your struggles, your challenges and your needs. I know you require food, clothing, shelter and other daily necessities... But the key is this: Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness... Put Me first, and will take care of the rest.
We need no further reassurance. These words from Jesus are more than enough for us to pull right any challenge that life throws at us. When we trust Him and hand over all our needs, we can successfully live one day at a time without being consumed with obstacles that come our way.
