It is the desire of every believer to get closer to God. What God sees is our heart. Our heart is what leads us to take certain actions. There are people who talk, but there are also people who act. Our Christianity is majorly defined by our deeds. It is our actions that make the difference. When we pray what normally follows next is action.
Pray is a two way thing. It is a conversation. After we are done taking to God He also has what to tells us. Sometimes what He may have to tell us is an instruction which we have to act upon., and is that instruction is not carried out we may never see the desired outcome.
For instance, when Moses cried unto God when he and the Israelites were been chased by the Egyptians God instructed Him to use his staff and part the Red sea. If all that Moses did was pray to God and neglect carrying out the instruction God gave nothing may have happened.
That is the problem with so many christians today. They want God to do a lot for them but are not willing to carry out the the steps and actions required to bring the expectations to manifestations. It doesn't work like that.
