We cannot truly enjoy our youth if we go on living our lives without purpose. When we disregard God's guidance, we expose ourselves to mistakes that could have been avoided. For teenagers to avoid regrets and struggles later in life it is best that they follow Christ and not what the people of the world suggests to them.
Their number one role model they should put before anyone else should be Jesus Christ. When they allow God to lead them He guards their hearts and enables them make wise decisions that will be of help to them in their future. They are no longer confused of how to go about their lives. They know the right steps to take. Not just that but when and how to take them.
1 Timothy 4:12 bring to our remembrance that, “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example… in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
The teenage years could lead to regrets later in the future if it is spent recklessly. But when a m strong foundation is set it will do us a whole lot of good. When we live our lives the right way at an early stage it saves us from regrets in later years ahead of us.
