Our God so merciful that even the sinners he still love them. He does not immediately destroy sinners, but often protects and sustains them in His mercy. Jesus taught that God “makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good,” meaning that His care and provision extend to all people, not just the righteous. This reveals a God who is kind and gives people time to repent.
At the same time, God’s protection is not an approval of sinful living. The Bible makes it clear that while God may shield or spare sinners for a season, He desires them to turn away from sin and come back to Him. His protection can be seen as an opportunity for change, a chance to seek forgiveness and begin a new life in obedience to Him.
