God loves sinners because He also created them in His own image but He doesn't like what they are doing. Throughout the Scriptures, God showed kindness to people who had fallen into sin when they turned back to Him with a sincere heart. King David sinned greatly, yet God forgave and restored him after he repented. This shows that God’s protection is not only for the perfect, but also for those who seek His mercy and desire to change their ways.
The Bible also teaches that sinners should not continue living in sin while expecting God’s protection without repentance. God’s love calls people to turn away from evil and follow His ways. Jesus came to save sinners and give them hope, forgiveness, and eternal life. The protection God gives includes spiritual guidance, peace, and the opportunity for salvation through faith in Christ.
