Hello Everyone
Want to contribute to the question of today " what is the faith of the thief on the cross written in Luke 23:42-43
Luke 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
On that moment he was already believing thy Lord Jesus Christ. He said "Lord remember me when thou comest into the kingdom" is an Expression of faith
For us who are not crucified will it be sufficient for us to only have faith and do not do good anymore?
If u are only going to Live only about an hour believing in Jesus Christ your faith will be sufficient for u to be saved. But if u are going to live another day, year or more u have to do something more than faith.
2Peter 1:5-9
2 Peter 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; Apostle clearly said given all deligence add to your faith Virtue
If u going to live more than a day faith is not enough u have to accompany your faith with works
Faith was enough for the thief at the cross because he cannot do anything anymore than just to believe there was no time anymore, he can not do good to us anymore.....
Thanks
