A Christian life is a life full of life. What this means is that a Christian must be a prayerful person who prays always. So, a virtue of a Christian is to be prayerful.
Now as a Christian who should we pray for? According to the bible in the book of Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.
The above scriptural verse is telling us to pray for everyone no matter who they are to us, be it our loved ones or our enemies or those who persecute us. All we need to do as Christians is to pray for all men.
1 Timothy 2:1-3 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Also, these above scriptural verses also buttressed the fact that we should pray for everyone so as to live a peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
In conclusion, Bro. Eli has made us know through the scripture that as Christians we must be prayerful as that's our virtue and when praying, we should pray for all kinds of people even, those who persecute us.
