Through the word of God, we train people in faith.
Acts 26:18 shows that the primary duty of a preacher is to open people's eyes to see the light of God's word.
The word of God is a lamp to our feet and a Light to our paths.
We as preachers don't preach our opinions, we preach the word of God.
James 1:21 says we should lay aside every filthiness of the flesh and receive the engrafted word of God which is able to save.
So the point is that, faith comes by hearing the word of God.
