To contribute to the question: Are Christians allowed to use wine in cooking?
From the video shared by brother Eli, I understand that we can use it since it'll evaporate upon heating.
When I further researched, I discovered that alcohol like beer, rum etc, can help tenderise meat within a shortest possible time, and that at a temperature of about 82°C, the alcohol would evaporate completely leaving behind water.
