A Christian can be anyone, but an Israelite is one by descent.
If you look at google, 94% are Ashkenazim, but how can they be Israelites if they have Gomer for a father? GENESIS 10:3 and God's judgment on them in EZEKIEL 38.

The descendants of Israel are from Jacob, who was renamed Israel by God Himself, thus the people of Israel are not subdivided to any geographical assignment, nor to any religion, they are Israelites because they are descended from Jacob= Israel... the Europeans of today.
