I don't want to offend you, but for real Christians and especially Israelites, this is also an insult.
I try to explain it to them.
They don't know the difference between Canaanite Jews (law and teaching, the Talmud) and Israelite Judeans (law and teaching of the Bible).
After the Babylonian exile, the Canaanite Jews and the priesthood, called Pharisees in the Bible, mingled with the Israelites, so all those who lived in Judea were called Judeans.
Until the time of Ahaz, king of Israel, who, according to chronology, lived from 3264 to
3280 after the fall of Adam, or from 720 to 376 BC,
the name "Jew" does not appear in the Scriptures.
So for years before, they were known by other names, namely Canaanite.
The Pharisees at that time were already teaching the legislation and doctrines, of the Babylonian Talmud but not the laws God gave to Moses.... they only kept them for themselves, but did not give them to the people.
Thus the Pharisees closed the kingdom of heaven from the people, as described in Matthew 23.
