There are actually some issues and conditions that we always think it comes from God whereas God is not really involved. One of the popular conversation and discussion I have had with people is the fact that are the ways of God really limited before God.
One of the things I have come to discover is the fact that as humans, we are small compared to God. We need to admit that fact. Yes as humans, we plan, we think and even try to control a whole lot of things in our lives but the truth is pointing down back to the issue that our understanding is very limited when it comes to the understanding of God.
The Bible says in Isaiah 55:8-9, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.”
Actually there are times I already know what is really best for me. There are instances I make plans and even expect some certain things to go the way I have planned and wants.
But quite unfortunate that sometimes, those things did not really goes the way I want. In those moments, I remember Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Overtime, I have come to discover that my knowledge is not enough, I must not depend on myself, I must depend on God.
If there is actually something I have come to realise, it is the fact that we as human being, our strength is really so limited. Even our wisdom can not be compared to the wisdom of God.
God is powerful, he sees everything from the beginning even to the end. In Jeremiah 29:11, God says He knows the plans He has for us, plans for good and not for evil. This gives me comfort because even when I do not understand what is happening, God is still in control.
