A lot of people are actually so curious about their future and I actually understand what caused it. A lot of uncertainty is happening and making it quite so difficult for even people to understand the next step to take. It is actually such a very beautiful thing if you are able to know about the future.
There were times I myself have been so worried about tomorrow, the next day, the next year and generally about my life. Some comes from fear and others come from hope.
But I have actually come to understand that the the word of God as I study it has helped me to calm down the anxiety in knowing the future because I have come to discover that knowing the future is not as important as trusting in God who holds the future.
There is a Bible verse that I really love so much whenever I am feeling anxious about the future. In Isaiah 46:10, it says, “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done.
I have come to understand that there is nothing that really confused God and surprised God. God sees everything and knows everything.
This always give me peace about my future. I know my life is not in the hands of chance but it is actually in the hands of God who owns my future.
Whenever it comes to knowing the future, there are actually some warnings that the bible have helped us to understand about the future. There are people that at all cost have seeked the future but in a very wrong way. Some used divination, some used fortune telling and many more.
In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, God warns His people not to follow such practices. I understand from this that seeking the future outside of God can lead me away from Him. Instead of looking for answers in the wrong places, I should seek God’s guidance through prayer and His word.
