If actually there is something that I have come to discover, it is the fact that searching for God is what a lot of us are currently on. It is a journey that many of us are actually on.
Sometimes it can be like an endless journey that might not look like it and sometimes it might look like there is light at the end of the tunnel. I personally have feel emptiness several times in my life. You understand that feeling of something is actually missing and that sometimes helps me to push to seek God.
The Bible reminds me in Jeremiah 29:13, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. One of the cheat code I have come to discover to use when searching God is in the aspect of a true and honest desire from within.
Now let me actually balance it, searching God for me is not just going to church or listening to messages. Don't get me wrong, all of these can definitely help you to search and even find God but it goes much more about that.
It deals with about building a personal relationship with God. I have experience it several times that whenever I myself pray, I usually feel much more closer to God. Matthew 7:7 says, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find. God is not really far away. He is actually always ready to listen to us only if we call upon him.
There are seasons in ones life that life can really be so confusing and you might start to wonder whether God is real or not.
But whenever you have this feeling, always hold onto God and what he said in Acts 17:27 that He is “not far from any one of us. Can you see that? That means God is always near even when you did not notice him. God is always near.
