Well, while it is right for children to always obey their parents, I think we should also give room to the fact that parents in the Lord are not perfect human beings. There may be a situation where parents may make some miscalculations.

I want to suggest that if a child believes his parents were wrong in some aspects, the child might have to reason with his parents. Or put his reasoning across since a child is not a robot. Afterall, God permitted us to reason with him in the Bible.
