The word of God is good for our spiritual growth. Therefore, we should study it always. We should study it till we fully understand what it says about our lives and destiny. We should study because our faith depends on it. If we have belief in God, oue belief is based on what God has said in his word. We are believing because we are trusting that God is able to do the what he says he will do. We should therefore give ourselves to studying this Word of God. We must be fully acquainted with what God promised us. The promises of God are written in his Word. So, studying the Word of God must be a daily and habitual exercise.
We do not need to count the number of times that we study the Bible. We are admonished by God to read the Bible everyday. God told the children of Israel to study the book of the law day and night. He said they should write it everywhere that they can see. We are to do the same. We must get ourselves fully informed about the things of God. Let the word of Christ dwell in us richly. Let us do everything according to what is written in the word of God.
How shall we be able to do what the word of God says if we do not know what is written in it. The Bible says that in whatsoever we are doing, we should do it according to the word of God. Let us read the Bible and meditate on it always.
