Every institution on earth is run with funds. We cannot roll out the importance of money in managing and running any institution that we which to run. Everything about life requires money. The government would not be able to effectively administer to the people without finances. The subject of money in the church should not be an exceptional case. There is no other way we are going to run the church without money. We will always require money for our church activities. There are several things on the course of our evangelical works in church that requires money. There are bills to pay. Even the staff members who are working full-time to further the work of the ministry needs to be cared for.
Looking at all these, we will come to the realization that money is an important aspect of the church administration. Many people campaign against giving money to churches. All of these are meaningless. We need money in the church. There are several issues to settle in the church. There are many responsibilities which are upon the shoulder of the church. The way of funding items in church is something that brings much questions. We should allow members of the church to support the works of the church as the Holy Spirit leads them.
Giving tithes in the church is not a doctrine of the New Testament. In the very beginning, it was recorded the Abraham gave tithes of all to Melchizedek. Abraham was not doing that under the influence of the law. So, saying that tithes is enshrined in the law will not be absolutely right. Therefore, let everyone give unto God according to what he or she determines in his heart.
