Why do we sometimes feel as if we are far from God? Is it God that is far from us or we are the ones who are going far from God? This is a very important aspect of our lives and our relationship with God. Man feels as if God had abandoned him. He feels as if God has gone very far from him. Is it really true that God is far from us? God is not far from us, we are the one who have taken a direction that makes us go far from God. The Bible says that God is not far from us that he cannot hear us when we call, it is our sins that separates us from God. Our sins make us to feel as if God is far from us.
To solve this problem, we must return back to God. How can we return back to God? We return to God by repenting from our sins. We return to God in obeying His commandments. God is not far from us. Our unwillingness to obey His commandments makes us get far from Him. God is not a bad Father. He would not create us and then abandon us. He cares for us. He is mindful of our welfare. If we obey His words, we will enjoy his companionship always.
