God’s timing often referred to as the “opportune time” is that moment when we are moved to do what is good. As Christians, we must learn to develop spiritual discernment so we can recognize when God is giving us the right moment to act.
Galatians 6:10 tells us, “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”
This reminds us that the perfect time is simply any moment we are given the chance to do good, especially toward fellow believers.
God’s perfect timing is at work whenever we feel inspired to do good without any hindrance—or even when challenges arise but still cannot stop us from doing what is right. When we are able to act kindly and righteously despite obstacles, that is God allowing His timing to unfold.
In 1 Thessalonians 2:18, Paul says, “Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.”
This shows that there are times when we intend to do good, yet we face barriers. When such obstacles prevent us from acting, it may not be the right moment God has prepared.
Therefore, God’s perfect time comes when we are free and able to show kindness, offer help, support the needy, and care for others—whether or not difficulties surround us.
In conclusion, Bro. Eli teaches that we must learn to recognize God’s perfect timing. Most often, it reveals itself through simple opportunities to do good to all.
