Good day Bible readers I'm writing this to summarize what I've learnt on are live Thanksgiving of God's people on zoom
PHILIPPIANS 1:28
And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
JOB 2:9
Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.
Whatever we confront in life, we must remember that it is the devil's work, not God's, that causes us to suffer through what we are going through. However, we must wait on God and not be fearful
Job 1:9-11 KJV
Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
[10] Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
[11] But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
The devil always tried to make God see us as if we have a reason for serving him. As a result of him guiding us. So he made God feel as if the Children of God have a cause for serving God, and we as believers don't really have a reason; our reason for serving God is the love we have for him as a result of what he has done for us. He died for our cause, and he gave us the free will to become sons of God, which we didn't have before. As a result, we love him and serve him.
The Bible teaches us that fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Now, the fear there isn't about being afraid of God; rather, the terror there is about reverence. As a leader and someone who knows beyond you, having a reverence for God is similar to having a reverence for your father, not because you are afraid of him, but because you revere him. As a result, you live with reverence in your heart, which is also known as terror. So it's not like we're afraid of God, and we're trying to get rid of that fear by chasing away Satan's dread. We revere God, and in that reverence, we now endeavor as much as possible to do what our father wishes, so that no matter what threats the enemy throws at us, it will be our father who protects us.
