Before I go into the main thing for the day, here are some of the Bible verses Brother Eli made reference to in the course of the studies. For the sake of time, I will not make reference to all but try to make time and go through them.
(Mathew 5:5, Luke 6:34, Romans 12:20, Mathew 5:42-45, Ephesians 4:32, Mathew 5:7, Mathew 6:7, 1 Corinthians 6:5-6, Malachi 4:2, Philippians 1:27, Galatians 6:10, 1 Timothy 3:15, 1 Corinthians 3:13)
We are to love our enemies and pray for them that persecute us. That we shall be called sons and daughters of God. Our Father is a God of Love and he loves everyone. That is why we are to love everyone. We are to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us.
Mathew 5:5, Luke 6:34, Romans 12:20
If we are to love our enemies then just imagine our neighbors. Love for our enemies is a commandment from God. A commandment must be obeyed at all cost. This means we are to love our neighbors even more.
Mathew 5:42-45
Hence, it’s a command to show love to our enemies and pray for them that persecute you.
He causes rain to fall on both the just and the unjust. God's grace and mercy is abundant and sufficient for everyone, even the wicked. He gives them time and waits patiently for them to repent of their evils.
If you want to be loved, then love others. For remember when you throw a ball against a wall, it will surely bounce back to you.
Ephesians 4:32
Being merciful is one of the most important commandments of God. That is why it is written in the book of Mathew 5:7. that we show mercy to others so that our father in heaven will show us equal mercy.
Mathew 5:7
Neither will our Father forgive us our trespasses if we refuse to forgive those who trespass us. That is why it is very important for us to let go of every misunderstanding we had with our fellow brethren in the past. Forgive and forget brethren.
Mathew 6:7
Paul was not happy to hear that the church was taking each other to the law court. He questioned them if they had no one among them that could change them but rather they took the matter to court for unbelievers to judge them. So, Saint Paul is against us going to the law court. It is better we settle the issues among ourselves then take it to the law court for unbelievers to judge if we are wrong or right. We should learn to easily forgive our brethren.
1 Corinthians 6:5-6
We should learn to behave very well in the church because that is the house of God. Unity is very important. We walk in companies in order to show unity but if we are not united in heart then there might rise divisions among us. There must not be any division among us but we should be perfectly joined together in the same mind and heart. We are to stand fast in the Lord thriving for the doctrine of God. We should let love lead us. If we allow to be the major focus we will be kind to everyone.
Philippians 1:27
We are to do good always especially to our brethren in the household of faith. This can only be achieved when we have love in us. We are to provide the needs with what we can afford to give them. We are to be each other’s keeper as the word instructs us to do. That is the doctrine of Christ.
Galatians 6:10, 1 Timothy 3:15
We thank God for the lives of everyone in the MCGI Cares community trying their best to provide for the poor and needy in the community, thanks especially to Brother Daniel and Brother Eli for the good work done. These acts of love and kindness are doing and changing the lives of millions out there. This is what we call love. Thank you for the kind gestures on behalf of anyone that has benefited from you in one way or the other. I’m also thankful for the blessings this community has brought upon my life. I have been blessed through your doctrines and teachings. This is what the church should be all about but instead there are other churches that cause trouble here and there. They always cause confusion in the community and even encourage their members to fight the government. This is not the doctrine of Christ.
True love should not only be demonstrated through words. It must be demonstrated through actions as well. The more you show love through these kind gestures, the more the blessings of God come upon you. Let us learn to love everyone. Love your neighbor, love your enemy and even pray for those who persecuted us.
This will even send a different signal to unbelievers. It Will make them see the goodness of God and have a change of mind because of our acts. The most wicked person can be transformed through the doctrines of the word. Hence, we need love to conquer evil. No need for jealousy, boastful, wicked, arrogance etc. if we say we love.
1 Corinthians 3:13
We will also try and do our very possible best to bring the lost to Christ Jesus through love. Let love lead brethren. I pray to see you in my next publications.
Thank You
