Greetings family,
Brother Eli made a very nice elaboration on this topic. He made mention that the best manner of life a teenager needs to portray is the Gospel of Christ Jesus. This Gospel we are talking about is the teachings of Christ Jesus. This is different from the teachings of the ten commandments. What Christ thought was the Gospel but not the ten commandments. Jesus Christ was the Law Himself. He made the Laws, taught them and gave better interpretations to each and every one.
Jesus Christ taught us how to love neighbors as our own selves and on top of it love our enemies too. We can see that Jesus Christ at this point was more conceived for everyone. He loved the whole world and for those reasons shared His blood for us all, that anyone who believed in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. He showed love to everyone and we are to do the same. That is somehow different from what we have in the ten commandments.
Mathew 5:44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
That is somehow contrary to what we have in the ten commandments. In the commandment of the law of Moses, it was stated that we have to love our neighbor and hate our enemies. That means there is a very great difference between what is in the old testaments and the New Testament. They are both saying something different. Jesus was the fulfilment of the old testaments. He made the corrections and the necessary amendments. That is why we need to rely more on the Gospel or the Good News Thought by Jesus Christ Himself.
Mathew 5:43
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy.
Hence comparing the two scenarios above, we can see clearly that the best way to live on earth is loving everyone, even your enemies. That is what Christ taught us and that us what He demands of us. The Apostle Paul also made emphasis on this in the book of Philippians. He said the live they live should be worthy of the Gospel of Christ not only in His presence but also in his absence.
Philippians 1:27
Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you stand firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel.
Not any other teachings but the teachings of Christ Jesus. The Gospel, the Good News. That is what a life a Christian teenager must be worthy of. Hence, as a teenager, you are to live of life according to the Gospel of Christ. The whole teachings Of Christ Jesus is what a teenagers life is supposed to be based on. Reading and learning the Gospel of Christ will give you the best way to live your life as a teenager. It has all the key points to which your can live a life worthy of good manners. Brother Eli and emphasis on the Bible verse where we can take very good look at when it comes to the teachings of Christ Jesus concerning the way and manner of life. He said we can find these teachings in the book of Mathew 5:1 to Mathew 7:28.
From the chapter 7:28, and I quote:
“And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at His doctrine.” We can clearly see that, everyone that was present at the time of His teachings where amazed. They were surprised at what Jesus had thought them. This shows how powerful and Good His doctrines and teachings are. And if followed by a teenager, or anyone, they could actually find a solution to most of their ways to which they should life.
It is very good we take look at all these Bible verses and chapters to we see what it has for us. Make time and study these chapters of Mathew and learn the doctrines of Christ Jesus. From Chapter 5 all the way to 7:28. Hope you get all the answers to how best to live our teenage life. This is where I end my post on the “The best way to live our teenage life.”
Thank You.
