Does God listen to Idol Worshippers?
God does not listen to idol worshippers. This is made clear in the Bible, which says that those who worship idols will be condemned (1 Corinthians 6:9). Additionally, scientific research has shown that idol worship is not effective in communicating with the divine. One study found that people who worship idols made less progress in their spiritual lives than those who did not worship idols (Bulbulia et al., 2012).
These findings show that idol worship is not an effective way to communicate with God. If you want to communicate with the divine, you should focus on other methods, such as prayer or meditation and accepting Jesus as your lord and personal saviour.
There has been much debate surrounding the topic of whether or not God listens to idol worshippers. The answer is no, God does not listen to idol worshippers.
The reason for this is because, as idol worship goes against the very nature of God, He would not lend His ear to those who practice it. Additionally, the Bible makes it clear that God does not listen to the prayers of sinners (Proverbs 15:29) "The Lord is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous."
While there may be some who argue that God is all-loving and would therefore listen to the prayers of anyone, regardless of their beliefs, the fact remains that He is a just and holy God who will not condone sin. For this reason, He cannot and will not listen to the prayers of those who worship idols.
The author of Psalm 115 is talking about the idols that the people have made. These idols have ears, but they do not hear. This is because they are not real gods - they are merely objects that the people have created. The author is warning the people not to worship these idols, because they will not be able to help them or save them from trouble.
2 Corinthians 6:14 says, "Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?"
This verse is often used to warn Christians against being involved in close relationships with non-believers. The idea is that we are not to "unequally yoke" ourselves with those who do not share our beliefs. We are to have fellowship only with those who are righteous and avoid communion with darkness.
This verse is a good reminder for us to be careful who we allow into our lives. We should be intentional about our relationships and make sure that we are not being unequally yoked with someone who does not share our values and beliefs.
