¡Hola a todos! Es muy grato volver a escribir sobre un tema referente a mis clases en la universidad. Estudio Artes Plásticas y cada vez que mandan a hacer alguna actividad, me sorprendo con la creatividad de mis compañeros. Para la clase destinada a los símbolos egipcios, no fue la excepción.
Hi all! It is very pleasant to write again on a topic related to my classes at the university. I study Plastic Arts and every time they order an activity, I am surprised by the creativity of my classmates. For the class devoted to Egyptian symbols, it was no exception.
En la última clase que vimos de Historia del Arte, la profesora nos indicó que debíamos escoger cada uno un símbolo Egipcio y crear una obra representativa, en la que debíamos hacer uso de nuestra creatividad, pues no serían aceptados trabajos sencillos en papel. En mi caso, el símbolo que escogí se era la Flor de la vida, símbolo representativo del ciclo de la naturaleza (Luego les muestro cómo lo elaboré je je).
In the last Art History class we saw, the teacher told us that we each had to choose an Egyptian symbol and create a representative work, in which we had to use our creativity, since simple works on paper would not be accepted. In my case, the symbol I chose was the Flower of Life, a representative symbol of the cycle of nature (I'll show you how I made it later hehe).

Otro de mis compañeros elaboró una pieza para hacer estampados en tela. No pude oír su explicación, pero viendo su camisa, puedo decir que el resultado es bastante bueno je je
Another of my colleagues made a piece to make prints on fabric. I couldn't hear his explanation, but looking at his shirt, I can tell that the result is quite good hehe
Para las piezas de dibujo. Algunos se enfocaron en utilizar materiales a los que no se está acostumbrados a trabajar.

Otro de mis favoritos, fue una pieza elaborada en arcilla, que luego mi compañera pintó y selló con una pintura especial, que le dio un acabado brillante y muy profesional. Sin duda, todos estábamos maravillados por cómo lucía.
Another of my favorites was a piece made of clay, which my partner then painted and sealed with a special paint, which gave it a shiny and very professional finish. Without a doubt, we were all amazed at how it looked.
Hubieron piezas con detalles muy bien marcados. Demostrando la determinación de cada uno en su obra.

Eran muchas piezas, ya que somos como 30 alumnos je je pero como no me sentía muy bien, sólo pude recopilar un par de fotografías je je aunque no pude disfrutar de la presentación de todos mis compañeros, realmente me sorprendí con las obras que vi. Estoy ansiosa por ver los futuros trabajos de mis compañeros, así como los míos je je pues me gusta la idea de probar el trabajar con materiales a los que no estoy acostumbrada.
There were many pieces, since we are about 30 students hehe but since I didn't feel very well, I could only collect a couple of photographs hehe although I couldn't enjoy the presentation of all my classmates, I was really surprised with the works I saw. I am anxious to see the future works of my colleagues, as well as mine hehe because I like the idea of trying to work with materials that I am not used to.
