We usually hear that the Creator made us in his image. Sometimes you even hear that we ourself are the Creator.
And this got me thinking... If this is true, how do we now that the flip side to this coin isn't?
If everything is created in the image of the creator, wouldn't that mean that what we consider to be evil is part of the Creator also?
For example, If we were to take "The battle between heaven and hell" and translate this back to each individual as we know ourself, you'd get a beautiful translation that makes this make sense. Because the battle of heaven and hell is not so much about Demons and angels fighting each other but more about the internal battle we have daily in our head. Think about the story of the two wolves living inside us.
"An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”
He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”
The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
let's dive a little deeper into this theory...
When looking at our behavior that comes forth based on our thoughts, we can easily say that the battle between heaven & hell or angels and demons, is being fought in our head. If you think, or at least try to think, "Good thoughts", This will be reflected in your behavior and just the same, if you're a mean person that's always trying to be above everybody else no matter the cost this will be because of your thought patterns as well.
So if we take this and look at the entire population, we could say that the battle is between the "Good thoughts and behaviors" vs "mean thoughts and behavior"
And if we look at how the world is changing due to social media, technology and the Accessibility to them, combined with freedom of speech, entitlement, lack of empathy that is getting worse day by day... Wouldn't all of this make sense?
Cause imagine the world we would live in, if everybody lived like the last sentence? Pretty much hell, Right?
What are your thoughts?
And of course a Happy New year to all of you.
Love,
Cloe
