Greetings friends cactus and succulent lovers, succulent grovers comunity, today I bring you several of my plants that have been growing little by little in my garden.
This is the Mammillaria Hahniana Werderm, she has not yet produced offspring nor has she flowered. Not that I am impatient but I do wish she would start giving me those little gifts after giving her the care she deserves. I must wait and as soon as she reproduces and has her beautiful little pink flowers I will be updating the post.
I have a huge Opuntia tree, it is flowering and bearing fruit. Some of those seeds have fallen into my pots without me realizing it because I was surprised to see this tiny plant in one of my big pots. I pulled this little one out and it has been transplanted here for days.
I have never had a cactus that was born from seed and seeing this plant got me so excited that I wanted to post it for you to see it too. I think that many of you who are specialists in these plants already know this point but I have brought it up anyway.
One of my Bromeliads is blooming with its beautiful flower of exuberant color. I have already published it many times, it is not the same plant because we all know that Bromeliads bloom only once and the offshoots are left growing to do the same process as the mother plant. This is how I have kept this plant for many years.
The pitahaya plant has flowered three times but has not been pollinated and therefore the fruit has not been able to grow. This is the third time she has flowered, the flower buds are bigger than before, and the flower is more beautiful and bigger too. I am hoping that at some point the pollinator will get to my plant during the night and can make it fruitful.
The flower is only born at night and then throws off a musky scent to start fading at dawn. I was able to arrive in time to see its beautiful flower that was already shutting down to die.
This is the image of the Vatricana Guentheri, it was barely an inch long when it was given to me as a gift. The person who gave it to me pointed out that it was the only child that the mother plant had and hoped that it would grow for me and it has. It is very beautiful.
Here I have the Cleistocactus winteri, it has not flowered either and is branching very well. I hope that soon it will have so many more branches and will be able to give me its flowers.
My Orbea Caudata is always blooming with these beautiful stars with red backgrounds and long, long, plush, yellow extensions. It is a very small succulent but can carry a large bouquet of small, very globular flowers, as you can see.
I am very happy with the acquisition of these new plants that were not in my garden and are now growing and getting stronger. I am just waiting for the day when I will have my garden full of flowers in all my cactus and succulent pots.
So far I show you how my beautiful new plants are doing, see you next time.
