I'm not very clear what species this little succulent belongs to, is it a Sedum Clavatum or is it a Graptopetalum Mendozae, I don't differentiate it very well yet. This morning I was taking pictures to see its progress and I found it to be very leafy.
When I was given an offshoot of this plant in December it was only one rosette and it has already multiplied with three more rosettes apart from small rosettes that form underneath on its stems.
The truth is, and this is the reason for my posting, that when I took a close-up picture of one of the rosettes I saw that it has a pest. They are very tiny insects that I do not observe without the magnification of macro photography, not even placing the lenses.
The truth is that they have elongated bodies and are dark green in color. I don't know what kind of pest it is and what occurred to me was to spray them with a preparation of water from cooking garlic and onion shells that I had to spray on my plants.
After a few hours, I took pictures again and I don't see them anymore. I don't know if they are hidden inside the spaces that separate the rosettes, but they are not visible on top of them.
I will be careful to spray it again with the garlic and onion cooking while at some point I can go buy another product.
