Amazon lily:
The scientific name is Eucharis amazonica. It is native to Peru but is now widely spread in the Caribbean. It is a bulbous plant with lanceolate green leaves. The flowers are borne on a flower stalk.
It is of warm climates, it does not like sun exposure, and when it blooms it presents multiple flowers at the same time. It must always have a humid substrate. For reproduction, a bulb is separated from the root of the mother plant and it responds very well to transplanting.
She is flowering for the first time. I am taking good care of her but something is wrong with her because the leaves have all yellowed and dried out, even the one leaf that was born in my garden from this plant has died. All that is left is this beautiful flowering stem with several flower buds. It is opening another flower and I hope they continue to do so.
The soleirolia soleirolii
It comes from the Mediterranean. It is a creeping plant with very small leaves that grow spreading over surfaces. It is used in pots and in arrangements where it takes the form of a blanket. It is called baby's tears, love nest, or bride's nest. It should be placed in environments where it can spread and replicate at will. It serves as foliage in pot arrangements.
This plant likes shade and moisture in its substrate and stays green if in the shade and changes to a dark color when in the sun.
She is in the shade and its color is light green while the smaller one is exposed to a few hours of direct sun and its color is changing.
