On one of my visits to the plant nursery, I saw this beauty:
The photos I were taken with a Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70L tablet
And I immediately put it aside.
Do you see a cup of coffee behind a cactus?
This owner gave me a treat, his wife makes delicious coffee!
The Echinopsis cactus also has a second name, Lobivia.
For me this is a confusion and I do not like that cacti are renamed.
Since I don’t know the names of all the renamed cacti.
So, about the Echinopsis-Lobivia cactus.
Its flowers are very beautiful, but unfortunately they only last 2-3 days.
But its flowering is abundant, so this beauty can be admired for much longer.
During the budding period, the soil must not be allowed to completely dry out, otherwise the cactus will drop buds and flowers.
To achieve a lush flowering Echinopsis in the winter (dormant period) must be kept at a temperature of + 8-10 ° C.
In summer, Echinopsis prefers a temperature of + 20-24 ° C.
But my Echinopsis can withstand much more, which makes me very happy.
It also withstands direct sunlight.
This cactus forms a large number of basal processes.
As you can see in the photo.
