Greetings dear friends succulent lovers, I tell you that today I want to show you my first succulents, I really do not know much about plants because my husband is the one who likes them much more than me, but for some time I have wanted to have some nice succulents at home.
Recently we went for a walk and we stopped at a stall where they sold many succulents and plants, because these types call me much attention, the stall had the name of "kokedame " there we stopped and we could enjoy a great variety.
It was really my first time buying succulents and I didn't know what to choose because as I said, I am just starting to like plants, so I looked like a little girl choosing my plants.
One of the things that caught my attention when choosing them is the base that looks like a coconut, the girl told me that it is made from moss and the good thing about it is that it allows to soak the entire base in water when watering it and that this should be done only once a week.
I ended up choosing two succulents to take them home, both small, one is the banana succulent and the other I was looking for its name, although the girl told me I forgot it, I think it is part of the Graptopetalum family, if any of you know what the name is I appreciate your help, since I am just getting familiar with them.
I think it must be from that succulent family because of the shape of its leaves, I really liked this one because it resembles a flower and has several branches.
I also liked the banana tree because it falls and I saw one on the girl who had a bigger one and it looked nice and bushy.
A week later I started to put water as I had been told by the girl where I ate them, I submerged them completely and then I put them to dry.
What I could notice is that the banana tree is more delicate because the leaves began to fall off in the last few days, I bought them 10 days ago and I will show you a picture of how it is not as bushy as it was at the beginning.
I hope that both succulents can be well maintained and that the leaves will grow back on the banana tree.
I am learning with you, of the care that some succulents need, I hope to see my succulents grow and another time transplant them to a new pot.
Any advice you can give me I thank you, have a nice day or night as you read me 😉.
