Hello Dungeon Crawlers,
Just pushed a new update to the Dungeon Cities Companion site and i am pretty happy with this one ๐
While the team is busy building out the game and balancing everything, i just like to help the community with some quality of life things.
Mostly stuff i am personally missing and then i thinkโฆ well maybe others can enjoy it as well ๐คฃ
And the team has not been sitting still at all.
I really love the latest update where the game became free to play. That is such a big step forward for onboarding new players. Of course once you want to interact with the player market you need a Hunter Pass which is 6.99$ paid in Hive. Fair system if you ask me.
Full post about it here:

Before that we already got enchantment stones and even a complete new city. So yeah they are definitely building and pushing content.
Login Feature Is Live
So what did i build this week?
I extended the app so that you can now log in and use your own inventory data inside the companion.
Once logged in the site will show
- Which resources you have in your inventory
- Which resources are listed on the market
- Which keys you already crafted
Pretty neat and super helpful if you ask me ๐
I wanted this because i kept forgetting
- Which items i needed for certain keys
- Which keys i already crafted
- Which items i should sell instantly
- Which items i should list on the market
It became a bit of a mess in my head. So instead of complainingโฆ i just built it.
How It Works
If you open the forge page while not logged in nothing changed.
https://dungeoncities-next.vercel.app/forge
But when you log in via your Keychain app the site performs a Dungeon Cities login and retrieves your inventory data.
After that the forge page will reflect your real situation.
Now you can instantly see what you have and what you are missing. No more switching between tabs and guessing.
Extra Handy Tooltip
Small bonus feature that i personally love.
When you hover over certain items you can see where the item is located. It might be in your inventory but it might also be listed on the market. And as we all know the market is sometimes used as extra inventory space ๐

I could not test expired listings yet because i currently have none sitting there. I assume it works fine but if something looks off please let me know.
Small Update Big Impact
It is not a massive feature but for me it is a significant upgrade in daily usage. It just removes friction and makes crafting keys way smoother.
If you encounter any problem please let me know so i can fix it.
Hope you enjoy it as much as i do.
