Hello dungeon crawlers,
This week two things that grabbed my attention
- What is Devil Eye and is it worth 100 DR
- A big tip once you complete your B Set
What Is Devil Eye
So I was curious what the hack Devil Eye actually is and why you need to pay 100 DR for it.
So yeah… I bought it so you do not have to do it blindly 😄
What does it give you?
It basically fetches your history and stats in a clean overview.
You can see
- Your total stats and experience breakdown
- What actions you performed the most
- A full list of all actions
- Items overview
- Arena PvP overview
- Crafting overview

It is actually pretty cool to see what they are tracking behind the scenes. I assume they track way more than they show here but this already gives a fun insight into your account activity.
For 100 DR I think it is a fun little feature if you like stats and tracking your own progress. If you do not care about numbers and history then you can easily skip it.
Now at least you know what you get for your DR.
The Big B Set Tip
Now the most important part of this week.
Once you complete your B Set in Druantia you suddenly feel powerful. You can handle every unit you have encountered so far.
But… there is a downside.
Counter attack.
Counter attack.
Especially when you move back to Cealum for farming monsters you will notice something painful. You are so strong that you basically destroy yourself. You swing so hard that the counter attack damage scales with your own attack power.
And that hurts.
Quick reminder.
Counter attack chance is always 5%.
The damage is based on your attack power and the monster rank.
Here is the table again for reference:
| Rank | Counter Attack Damage |
|---|---|
| F | 5 to 10 percent |
| E | 7 to 14 percent |
| D | 10 to 20 percent |
| C | 14 to 28 percent |
| B | 19 to 38 percent |
| A | 25 to 50 percent |
| S | 30 to 60 percent |
| SS | 35 to 70 percent |
| SSS | 40 to 80 percent |
| R | 50 to 100 percent |
So what can you do?
Simple.
Remove your attack gear when you go back to lower cities.
Take off your weapon, feet, and accessories that boost attack. Then you only deal base attack damage. That way the counter attacks hurt way less.
For Aldoria and Brighthollow you can almost run through the dungeon with barely any gear. Easy farming mode.
Cealum is a bit different.
Most monsters are weak so no issue there. But the important monsters that drop the good loot have higher defense.
For example if a monster has 4016 defense you need just enough attack power to go above that. If you are below it you will not kill the monster and you will need to flee. Yes that happened to me 😅
The trick is this.
Bring just enough attack power to pass their defense.
If you bring way more attack power the counter attacks will hurt more. If you bring only slightly more than their defense you will need more hits but the self damage stays manageable.
It is a balance between speed and survival.
That is my tip of the week.
I am heading back into the dungeon now. Finishing up the monsters in Aldoria then back to Cealum for core chests and fragments. Druantia at level 25 with a B-Set is no joke and we need many more Cealum core fragments.
Happy crawling and see you all 👋
