Hello hello beautiful people of this universe called the internet! This time I want to share one of my biggest joys in Splinterlands — I finally reached the Gold Leagues. Honestly, I thought I’d be stuck in Bronze for months. I was a total newbie when I started, and I can’t say I’m an expert now, but at least I can defend myself a bit. Thanks to all the bloggers who share strategies, and of course my mentor who has guided me a lot on this path.
Since I unlocked Gold League, I got a bunch of chests to open. I even used potions to increase my chances of getting gold cards. At this point I wasn’t expecting much because my two favorite elements were already pretty leveled up. Funny thing is, I barely got any cards from those elements.
I had no idea how to open them, so I played around with the cards. I flipped one from the top, then one from the bottom, then skipped a space and flipped another from the top, repeating the sequence several times.
I gotta say, getting Franksasgard maxed out was unexpected. I don’t even know what to do with those cards — if they’re already maxed, they’re kinda useless. I can’t sell them either, so I guess I’ll just leave them there. 😇
I repeated the strategy again, but my potions ran out. This time no gold cards came out — kinda sad. Something I noticed though: when you hover over a card, it gives a glow effect, so you can tell if it’s normal, epic, or gold.
Moving up leagues has been super exciting. I kinda miss Silver because Gold I is way more challenging. I face stronger opponents, and even though I fight back, I often lose because the battle rules force me to use elements I haven’t leveled up yet. So for now, winning is tougher. I’ll need to keep improving my cards, but that means saving up.
Follow me so you don't miss the next adventure!
