Here's my 84th Splinterlands Guild Brawl Report for PIZZA 2 The Deep Dish. 🍕⚔️🛡️
It's been a really pretty busy Splinterlands day for me. Having the guild brawl end so near the End of Season always means I tend to try to cramp everything into a small timeframe. Bad "last minute" habits. Fortunately, everything was pretty much settled in time eventually, so disaster averted. 😁
It's the ✨🏅✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion Fray no.12✨🏅✨ for the 67th week in a row for me.

1 free win last week and nothing else. That resulted in my winning percentage moving to the 64% mark. This is once again another new achievement for me. Lots of luck more so than skill is needed though. I'm under no illusions as always as to my skill in the game. 🍀
I finally got a REALLY good Gladius opening! And that was on my main account too! A gold Foil Captain Katie is amazing. She'll definitely be a huge addition to my arsenal for the gold fray guild brawls.
Even my alt did pretty well with an epic Edith Emberstar. 🎉🍀

As usual, I make an extra effort to rent ✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion✨ cards that align with my daily focus during Guild Brawl days.
Hopefully Lady Luck continues to shine on me 🍀🍀🍀 and I don't get too many weird ruleset combinations which will completely screw up my limited Gold Foil selection of cards. (🤣 yeah, that's how terrible I am, to have to rely on luck for my wins)
Some thoughts I have about my exploits in the Gold Frays. 💭🤔
I feel like I'm winning because my opponent has even less Gold Foil cards available to him than I do. Personally, I find it slightly flattering to me. The teams I field are definitely not the absolute strongest, but more of what is available to me.
It also doesn't account for HOW I win some of the fights though. I've realised that a fair number of them are from opponents who just gave up and did not even face me in battle. ⚔️⚔️⚔️
My choice of picking up the Gold Foil frays is to simply give the Guild a better chance at accumulating more wins, seeing especially that IN THE PAST, many Gold Frays were left empty. Even if I were to lose everything and win just 1 match, it would definitely help in securing a better finishing position overall. 🥇🥈🥉

With all that said, lets FINALLY get down to a review and quick analysis of my battles 🧐⚔️🛡️, or in some cases where my opponent fled 🏃🏻💨 - non battles 😨.

This was an easy win for me. My opponent was apparently unable to field a full team. It wasn't that my own lineup was good, but the superior numbers made it a no contest.

A "perfect streak" again? 💯
This isn't exactly a walkover like last week, but the opponent wasn't really able to put up much of a challenge due to his limited deck.
My alt performed pretty well with it's 6-1 overall score. Just 1 shy of a perfect run of it's own. So near yet so far.
I feel it's important that Guilds are able to fill out all the frays - even the significantly "harder" Gold ones. It is very likely that most guilds (at our level) skip the Gold frays completely, or are unable to even field a team if they've got no Gold Foil Summoners. This therefore leads to a better overall score.

We've finally picked ourselves up! After the past few weeks of fairly poor results, we're back on top again. Everyone really chipped in and the victory was definitely well deserved.
On a sidenote, we've still got some unfilled frays too so...
