Do you recall those videos I remastered for Vlog every day in April or August where my grandpa and I went out of town for an unplanned trip when his sister suddenly passed? Well, we're back for season 2 because another sister passed suddenly. My folks planned the funeral quickly. They planned it in like 2 days. My uncle and aunt picked us up and drove us down there. They also attended the services.
In these videos, I have a better vlogging setup than I did in the season 1 video.
Also, we traveled in the daytime which made making videos easier. Once you hit Southern IL it's dark out there. NO street likes like in the city.
This time it was a bit cooler weather-wise than it was when I was there in 2019. It still felt different for me being a city folk.
It was about an 8-hour drive. With a few stops. A few grub stops and a few gas stops. You gotta be careful on some of these streets, the state trooper is like a hawk. I could probably drive but I have to be mindful of the state trooper spots where they watch for drivers speeding. This is something I'd like to do. driving around the US, stopping at hotels, and blogging about it.
I enjoy travel blogging, and sharing my adventures with the audience. I do only travel to one place, a lot of people have a spot where they vacation frequently
Maybe someday, I can visit other places.
I will have some videos and photos for this trip. I'd prefer to post them on a different blog post. A video blog and a photography blog. This video is a bit long but I like the video to feel like they're watching a movie. And adventure. It's hard to do with a 3 min video.
Enjoy my 4th and maybe final adventure to the south. I probably won't have another one for a good long while.
My folks are not traveling people/ can't go anywhere due to money. I want to change that sometime. To show you don't need loads of money and how you can budget travel.
This stint was shorter than my 2019 stint. I liked the 2019 stint better. I went to more places during that one. Prepare to be taken for a ride with me. You're gonna like it.
