We made it to Bulgaria!

Last week on Thursday we finally left Montenegro after six month and had two great days driving through the beautiful countryside of Serbia :-)

As I told you in my previous post we were preparing for another two weeks in quarantine, because we read that it could be difficult to enter Bulgaria, if you have been in Montenegro before.

But obviously there was no need to worry at all, we crossed the border without any problems.

Travelling these times is not as difficult as the media and governments wants us to think. We are very grateful that we took this next step, despite all the doubts that came up, when we read about the latest restrictions.

We found a beautiful place to sleep near Sofia, the capital city, at a small lake.
The weather is wonderful, sunny during the day and cool enough to sleep well at night.
We feel very welcome here, and are excited to explore the country during the next weeks, with the car full of water and food supplies :-)
