If you are someone who wants to be outside, explore new places, and make everything out of it, even in the simplest way. This blog is for you!
So, as I was saying, Danao City has a lot to offer. One of these is the resorts and gardens that are yet to be known to the public. One of these is the Pining Garden Resort.
Pining Garden Resort is located in the mountain barangay of Danao City, specifically in Barangay Dungga. It is a botanical garden that offers a variety of wonders, including different kinds of plants and flowers that cater to the tastes of those who love flowers. And not only that! It also features an infinity pool and cottages that are ideal for summer. Since summer is fast approaching, I would recommend this place to you.
My experience when I visited the place was back when it was still newly opened. It was not fully polished, and the pictures I’ve pasted here would probably not do justice to the current state of the resort. I have yet to visit there again, but I have seen posts from friends that this place has been so good and has become so much more colorful. However, let me share my experience from when I had the chance to visit the place two years ago.
It was during the time of Dungga’s neighbor barangay—Portland’s fiesta. My boyfriend’s friend invited us to their house. Thus, after we ate and had fun with them, we decided to take a look around the area and found a certain alley that said, “This way to Pining Garden Resort.” And so we turned that way and found the exact location of the garden resort. I can still remember that we paid 30 pesos for the entrance fee and 10 pesos for the motorcycle parking.
At the entrance, we were mesmerized by the statues and figurines that the resort offers even before we entered. There were also torii gates, similar to those in Kyoto. We also climbed up to the upper part of the resort, and we were in awe of how the upper portion of the place offers an overlooking view of the whole place.
All in all, although the entire place may not be in complete construction, the beauty of it was shining through.
I would definitely go back there when I have time. That place is certainly worth visiting.
