In my recent post about Zagreb, I mentioned that I wanted to show you a couple of artefacts I spotted in the Museum of Broken Relationships in Zagreb.
Apparently it's a must-see there, but actually it's a must-read ;) Be prepared for that, because it's all about the stories. People are basically donating items to the museum that once meant something to them, or that symbolise something that happened to them.
But without the stories, they are just old, every day items, of course. So you're going to spend a lot of time reading there!

People from all over the world donated items to the museum, from old clothes to exercise bikes.
I saw a self-made knitted sweater, which a girl had made for her boyfriend. While knitting, the relationship ended and the girl became more and more angry with her now "ex". Instead of abandoning the sweater, she kept on knitting it as a form of therapy. The end result is the ugliest sweater you've ever seen - crooked, with one sleeve longer than the other, and a stitched-on heart completely in the wrong place. I guess by the time it was done, she was finally "over him".
Rude...
This one is too funny! I actually used to own this book (and can testify that his method actually works), but to give it as an unsolicited present to someone? Rude, ha ha!
There are stories about all kinds of relationships - romantic relationships, relationships between parents and children, relationships with yourself, and ...with pizza!

Wifi password: just friends
There's a little café in the museum and the wifi password is very fitting for the place..
"It's not you. It's your mother."
You can give your own 2 cents on a white board specifically for visitors!

"Just when you think it's over.... it's over!"

So, I think it's absolutely worth seeing the museum! Just be aware that you will spend the whole time reading stories :)
