The next point of my attraction was a place called Sloboda. This village belongs to the same Prigorodny rural settlement of the Sokolsky district of the Vologda region of Russia.
Here, in the place of a sharp turn of the Sukhona River, there is a wooden church of Philip of Rabang.
There are two arrivals to the city of Sokol from the M8 highway. The village of Sloboda stands at the site of the second driveway.
Orthodox figures stand next to the Orthodox churches.
The place is well maintained, attractive and used as intended.
You never need to photograph anything in the early morning: almost always curly clouds come on closer to noon. Dawn is an exception.
There are two churches in the Sokol city itself.
One of them is the Church of St. John of Kronstadt was built in 2015.
I haven't been able to get to the second one yet.
Further, the path follows to the village of Arkhangelskoye.
