Hey Racers!
As we were trying to entertain ourselves on a long confinement afternoon, we started to scroll around some memories of past trips.
The first one we found was the route we did last year around Olympic Barcelona in Montjuïc (one of the city's hills).
This trip was particularly special, as it was the very first time we tested our Porsche Carrera 996 4S outside the store.
We started our ride in Plaça Espanya, then we drove uphill around Montjuïc and the Palau Sant Jordi.
This building is the most used sports venue in Barcelona. Many concerts, big scale events and spectacles take place here. Designed by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki, it was inaugurated on the 21st of September 1990 and is considered the masterpiece of the 1992 Olympic Games.
After a quick stop for some pictures (yes, we like to capture our baby's beauty in all its angles), we went past the Estadi Olímpic and the Movistar Telecommunications Antenna.
To finish the route, we stopped at Miramar Hotel to admire the Port of Barcelona.
We always enjoy riding around this area, as you can see breathtaking views from the several viewpoints the hill has to offer. Seeing Barcelona in its entirety from there doesn't ever fail to makes us fall even more in love with our city. We feel very lucky to live here.
As for the driving experience, it was unforgettable. We especially enjoyed the curvy roads of Montjuïc, as you feel the real speed and emotion that characterizes Porsche.
If you are around the area and enjoy driving, we'd say definitely check this one out, as it is safe and fun.
PS: don't tell anyone, but you can go very fast here ;)
