We escaped the mountains and headed down to Slovenian coast.

When we arrived it was windy and it had just stopped raining. We were not sure if the two days we were gonna stay in Piran will be nice enough to catch some sun.

As you can see we were granted sunny seaside vacation. We ate a lot of ice cream, I can tell you that much. ☀️

Slovenian coast is quite small but still nice. There are many good quality restaurants on every corner and food prices not too expensive on average.

Accommodation in summer months exceed the pricy hotels in the rest of the country, even the downtown capital city hotels in Ljubljana. That was overall our biggest expense but very worth it.
