What's up Hivers! It's Kina once again 🌟 Welcome to my Manila Travelog Series 101! ⋆˚࿔ I am excited to share my memorable travel experiences in Manila. For the first place that I want to share, it is a place that once became an hotly debated topic (particularly it's history and how is it modified). It is the Dolomite Beach along Manila Bay in Manila, Philippines
The Artificial Beach 𓂃۶ৎ
Have you guys heard about Dolomite beach in Manila? It is actually called an artificial beach due to its unnatural sand. It is made from dolomite rock. This day, it has become one of the most popular spot in the Philippines because of its white sand! It's so beautiful and refreshing. But, did you know that this marvelous dolomite beach was once full of trashes? The sea is filled with rubbish such as plastic rappers, bottles, plastic bottles, and so much more! It's literally a trash paradise. However, because of the Manila Bay Rehabilitation Project, the beach became spotless and beautiful.
Dolomite beach experience ₊˚⊹ ᰔ
When we were in Manila, it was super hot and the heat was intense. But when the moment we went to Dolomite beach the hotness went gone! I really liked how the moment we entered Dolomite Beach, it was so windy! The air made everything feel so relaxing. The entrance itself was already exciting, it's huge and looks very inviting.
Upon arriving, I was amazed by how bright and white the sand was. Though it’s not really comfortable to step on because it’s kinda hard as it was made of dolomite rock. What amazed me the most was how white the sand was! It was my first time seeing sand with that color. There's a lot of people who were mad upon making this beach but for me, I am seeing the bright side. Because before, this was so dirty and full of trashes! But now everything changed, it's all clean unlike before.
There's a lot of tourists there, taking a lot of pictures. On the side of the beach, there was this really big stone with factual information about Dolomite Beach. I read some of its infos. We only stayed there for a short time, so I didn’t get to explore much, but I still loved it because I finally got to see Dolomite Beach in person. By seeing the pictures you could tell that this man made beach is actually nice.
That's all for today! What's your opinion upon the rehabilitation of this beach?
